🌎 "O' say can you see ... ?" It's Yonder at the grave of Francis Scott Key at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Frederick, MD! In 1814, the lawyer penned words to what was officially designated the U.S. national anthem in 1931. His statue holds the manuscript & points to the nearby flag.

🌎 Yonder recently visited a cemetery that holds the second highest concentration of War of 1812 veterans in the state of Maryland. That war also marked the rise to fame of the individual represented on this monument and reinterred here in 1898. Where was Yonder this #WITWW?

🎨🐕 This week's #ArtfulPup (well, actually 3 silver ones!) was spotted at the Museum of Hounds and Hunting in Middleburg, Virginia, in the form of the Oscar Beach Perpetual Trophy. It was presented "in memory of his sportsmanship and devotion to horse and hound."
